Scope
Trigon, collaborating with the fit-out design team, was appointed to deliver fire engineering consultancy and a fire safety strategy report to be integrated within the Building Regulation submission.
Considerations for The Wells Mews development included the variety of uses over different floors:
Office Space - ground floor and upper floors
Basement Space - dedicated wellness facilities, featuring a state-of-the-art gym, along with a wellbeing studio offering timetabled classes.
Our responsibilities included:
Complying with standard fire safety guidance and interpreting the parameters of the base build design.
Developing a robust fire safety strategy that addresses the proposed fit-out design and matches the requirements for Building Regulation submission.
Providing fire engineering support and guidance on the possible link to an adjacent office building as part of a future development opportunity.
Results
Trigon effectively delivered a fire safety strategy that met our clients’ needs for the building’s development.
Communication of fire safety principles to all stakeholders from the design team, Statutory Authorities, contractor and the management agent was at the fore of this premium end flexi office project.
