Scope
Trigon collaborated with Karakusevic Carson Architects to deliver a fire safety strategy for the proposed estate creating 188 mixed-tenure, low carbon homes, community spaces and revised landscaping around existing Moreton and Rufford 1960’s estate towers.
Our responsibilities include:
Set out implications of ongoing changes to regulatory framework and guidance.
Develop a fire safety strategy report for the three residential blocks and the site, including the development of a Planning Gateway One Fire Statement as part of the consultation with new regulator (Health and Safety Executive – HSE).
Develop a Qualitative Design Review study to address the residential tower of height of more than 50m.
Results
Trigon supported the client, architect, and design team from feasibility stage to concept and detailed design up to detailed planning application.
