Scope
Trigon was appointed to work with Caruso St John Architects and a varied design team to develop a fire safety strategy for enhancing the social heart of the college including a series of rooms on the Eastside of the estate clustered around the Old Kitchen Bar and river terrace.
Our responsibilities included:
Undertake a series of site visits to establish existing fire safety situation.
Develop a bespoke fire safety strategy that allows the proposed modernisation taking place in an existing and historical building setting.
Supporting the design team throughout RIBA Stages 1-4 to develop a detailed fire safety strategy.
Results
The fire safety strategy principles respect the historical features and architectural design and quality. Delivering a fire safety strategy and communicating fire safety to all stakeholders from design team members, hotel management and owner.
