Scope
Trigon was appointed to work with Orms and the wider design team on the redevelopment of 20–23 Lincoln’s Inn Fields into a single-tenant office building. Following completion of the design stages, Trigon continued to support the project through engagement with RED Construction during RIBA Stage 5 through to completion. The scheme included end-of-trip facilities at basement level, an event space at ground floor, office accommodation across basement to sixth floors, and a rooftop terrace amenity space.
Our responsibilities included:
Preparing a retrospective fire safety strategy to document the existing building condition prior to refurbishment works.
Producing RIBA Stage 2, Stage 3 and Stage 4 fire safety strategy reports to support planning, Building Regulations approval, and detailed design development.
Providing ongoing fire safety support during construction, responding to contractor queries throughout RIBA Stage 5.
Results
Trigon supported the client, design team and contractor throughout the project lifecycle, from early design development through to construction and completion, ensuring fire safety requirements were effectively integrated and maintained through to the final as-built building.
