Croydon Park Hotel
Client
Scope
Trigon was appointed to work with Garnett Netherwood Architects (GNA) and a design team to refurbish the Croydon Park Hotel, which was left derelict after going into administration in June 2020. The new hotel will include co-working, gym, and social spaces, as well as newly refurbished bedrooms across ground plus 5 storeys.
Our responsibilities included:
Liaising with the design team to provide initial high-level comments on the proposed design.
Developing a RIBA Stage 3 (Spatial Coordination) Fire Safety Strategy report to support the Building Regulations approval application.
Responding to comments from the Registered Building Control Approver to ensure that they were satisfied with the final design.
Results
Trigon produced a fire safety strategy that supported the client’s vision for the hotel while demonstrating how the functional requirements of Part B of the Building Regulations would be met.
