Chancery House

Client

TOG (The Office Group) provides over 50 flexible design-led Work Spaces in the UK and Germany, with the majority spread across London. With a focus on developing landmark properties, the design of each Work Space responds to the history, neighbourhood and location of the space.

Scope

Trigon collaborated with dMFK architects to deliver a fire strategy for the proposed fit-out design for the extensive refurbishment of this unique office building. The flexible workspaces designed by TOG and dMFK architects will be used by members and guests to support a more productive and healthy way of working.

Our responsibilities include:

  • Understanding existing fire safety provisions and fire management procedures in place.

  • Develop a robust fire safety strategy addressing the proposed fit-out design including the use of advanced fire engineering principles (CIBSE Guide E and BS 7974) as part of the means of escape strategy for project specific occupancy flow capacity.

  • Provide flexibility within the fire strategy to support potential future fit-out changes.

Results

Trigon supported the client and design team from initial site visit throughout concept and detailed design.

Working closely with the design team and client means that the project specific goals and needs were identified and met.
