Scope

Trigon was appointed to work with Squire & Partners on the refurbishment and extension of the existing No 14 St John’s Lane office building in London, Farringdon.

Our responsibilities included:

  • Providing advice on refurbishment and extension options.

  • Supporting the design team from feasibility study up to detailed design.

  • Developing the project specific strategy for basement smoke ventilation.

Results

Trigon worked closely with the client and design team to contribute to different design options and develop a detailed fire safety strategy for the preferred option. The solution presented sets out how the proposal meets the functional requirements of the Building Regulations.
