Scope

Trigon worked in collaboration with Storey, British Land, dMFK and Overbury on the fit-out design of an exciting new flexible office space situated within the heart of the City. Level 7 of 201 Bishopsgate will offer a flexible working environment, alongside private tenant units and wellness facilities, offering tenants the freedom to design their workspace as suits fit.

Our responsibilities included:

• Working alongside the client, architect, and design team to understand the vision and intent for the new flexible office space.

• Undertake a holistic building review to understand the principles of the original fire safety strategy for the building and assess the impact of the proposed Level 7 fit-out on the wider building.

• Investigating the existing servicing and ventilation strategy for the building, to incorporate the Storey fit-out design proposals into an efficient, and sustainable ventilation strategy for the floor.

Results

Trigon delivered a detailed fit-out fire safety strategy suitable for Building Regulations submission that addressed the client aspirations and architects’ vision for the Level 7 fit-out. Through working closely with the design team, Trigon were able to demonstrate that the design proposals will be designed such that 201 Bishopsgate can continue to operate safely from a fire safety perspective.
